Information You Provide
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name or birth date in a sponsored search widget, the information goes to the outside provider running that tool. That company processes the query and returns its result. Campbell County Warrant Records does not store or log the search terms on its own servers.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If someone sends an email or message, the content is kept so a response can be made. It is handled within the site's team and is not shared outside that organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Information Collected Automatically
When a page loads, servers and analytics tools may receive technical visit details such as:
- The device's IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- The referring site, if available
- Page-view timestamps
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. They help measure which pages are used and where visitors leave. Analytics services combine traffic information so it can be reviewed in aggregate. A visitor can block cookies in browser settings, though some parts of the site may then work differently.
How We Use Visitor Data
- Keep pages available and improve load time
- Pass a search query to the provider that runs the widget
- Review which pages are useful and which need changes
- Find and repair technical problems
- Show advertisements that may reflect visitor interests
No Warrant Data Stored Here
This website does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of Campbell County warrants or personal warrant histories. The pages describe where official county and city records may be held and how to ask the sheriff, Circuit Court Clerk, or municipal court about a case. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or files about other people.
For an official warrant status, contact the issuing court or service agency. Campbell County has no public unified warrant portal, and the sponsored search tool is not a county record system.
Outside Search Providers
Search boxes on some pages are operated by third-party companies. Anything typed into a box is handled under that provider's privacy policy, rather than this one. The provider sets its own retention and sharing practices. Review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Services
Pages link to the Campbell County Sheriff, county courts, city offices, Tennessee agencies, and outside services. Following a link takes the visitor to a different operator. Its own privacy notice governs what happens there, so read it before submitting personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to follow browsing activity across websites for ad delivery. That activity is controlled by those partners, not by Campbell County Warrant Records.
Who May Receive Information
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be seen by:
- Search companies that receive queries entered in their tools
- Analytics providers measuring site traffic and performance
- Advertising networks placing ads on site pages
- Government or law-enforcement offices when a valid legal order requires it
Protecting Visitor Information
Standard security measures are used to protect information the site collects. Internet systems cannot be made entirely secure. Reasonable safeguards reduce risk, but no promise can be made that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under 18
The material is intended for adults. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, it will be removed when that circumstance is identified.
Your Information and Record Rights
Visitors may ask for a copy of information held about them, request correction of an error, ask for deletion, or opt out of certain processing. Tennessee's public-record laws apply to government records, not to private visitor accounts. For Campbell County public records, the Tennessee Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. ยงยง 10-7-503 and 10-7-504, and Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 govern access subject to statutory, court-rule, juvenile, and sealing limits.
- Request a copy of data held about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Ask for deletion of visitor information
- Opt out of certain processing where that option is available
A county-held warrant or court file is requested from its public-records coordinator or court clerk. Campbell County's Form 1 procedure requires proof of Tennessee citizenship for copies; that government-record process is separate from requests about data held by this private site.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised. When a revision is made, the updated text will replace this copy and show a new effective date. Review the page from time to time to see how visitor information is handled.
